Monsieur Spade Trailer Is Out

AMC Networks drops the trailer for noir mystery thriller series titled Monsieur Spade, created by Scott Frank and Tom Fontana. 

 

 

Set after the Algerian War is over, detective Sam Spade has been quietly living out his golden years in a tiny town in the South of France. Soon enough, it won't be quiet for him any longer when his past from America catches up with him. 

 

The series stars Clive Owen. Cara Bossom, Denis Ménochet, Louise Bourgoin, Chiara Mastroianni, Rebecca Root, Stanley Weber, Matthew Beard and Jonathan Zaccaï. 

 

Set in 1963, and the legendary Detective Sam Spade is enjoying his retirement in the South of France. By contrast to his days as a private eye in San Francisco, Spade's life in Bozouls is peaceful and quiet. 

 

But the rumored return of his old adversary will change everything. Six beloved nuns have been brutally murdered at the local convent. As the town grieves, secrets emerge, and new leads are established. Spade learns that the murders are somehow connected to a mysterious child who is believed to possess great powers. 

 

The series starts streaming from January 24th, 2024 on AMC+.
