Netflix Renewed Kaala Paani For The Second Season

The dark and mysterious series revolving around an unknown illness descends upon the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, a desperate fight for survival collides with a race to find a cure, titled Kaala Paani has been renewed for the second season.

Helmed by Amit Golani and Sameer Saxena, and written by Nimisha Misra, Sandeep Saket, Biswapati Sarkar and Amit Golani, the series recently release on Netlfix and became an instant hit.

Sharing the announcement teaser for the second season, the official handle of Netflix captioned it, “The dark waters are ready to take over once again!  Kaala Paani Season 2 Coming Soon, only on Netflix! #KaalaPaani #KaalaPaaniOnNetflix @NetflixIndia @EightyPackAbs @GolOpinions @ChhotaThalaiva @Khannasaurus @PoshamPa_P @AshGowariker @ameywaghbola @iamarushisharma @strictlyvikas @PriyanshJora”

The first season featured an ensemble cast including Mona Singh, Ashutosh Gowariker, Amey Wagh, Sukant Goel, Vikas Kumar, Arushi Sharma, Radhika Mehrotra, Chinmay Mandlekar, and Poornima Indrajith, among others.

The series that premiered on October 18, secured a position on Netflix’s Top 10 Global Non-English TV list and trended across 11 countries within a week of its release.
