‘Kota Bommali PS’: Title song is throbbing and sensible

GA 2 Pictures, one of the few production houses with a solid track record, recently announced that 'Kota Bommali PS' will hit the screens on November 24. Teja Marni has wielded the megaphone.

Its title track was released in the Kotamma Thalli Temple in Kota Bommali village of the Srikakulam district. The song is a combination of entertainment and message. Rambabu Gosala's lyrics are infused with the local cultural flavour. The song begins with a reference to the Uttarandhra-Srikakulam region, setting up the right mood. It later gets into a 'Jathara' spirit later. The song is a nod to the annual rituals taking place every year. This time, there is a difference, though. The 'Jathara' coincides with the election season, with competitive politics and restless campaigning making the common man feel important. Will the fate of the common man change after the election? The bribing of the voters with currency and biryani has been unpretentiously questioned by the song.

The political survival thriller, co-starring Srikanth Meka and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, has Murali Sharma, Rahul Vijay and Shivani Rajasekhar in key roles. With music by Ranjin Raj, the film is produced by Bunny Vass and Vidya Koppineedi.

'Lingi Lingi Lingidi' from the movie has had a riotous run. It has amassed 30 million views. Composed by Midhun Mukundan, the song is a hoot! The film's teaser suggests thrills.
