Featuring the talented filmmaker and actor Ashutosh Gowariker, Mona Singh, and Amey Wagh, in lead roles, the series will have audiences embark on a journey through the salty seas and ocean breeze of the Andaman Nicobar Islands.
On surface level the place is green, serene and exotic, but everything is not all smooth sailing on this island – chaos ensues as social order crumbles, leaving its inhabitants trapped and isolated from the outside world. Will the choice that one makes through this pandemonium ensure one’s survival?
The series also stars Sukant Goel, Vikas Kumar, Arushi Sharma, Radhika Mehrotra, Chinmay Mandlekar, and Poornima Indrajith, among others.
The series is created by Posham Pa Pictures, it is helmed by Sameer Saxena, and Amit Golani, the screenplay is penned by Biswapati Sarkar, Amit Golani Sandeep Saket, and Nimisha Mishra.
Kaala Paani premieres on October 18 only on Netflix.
