Shah Rukh Khan along with Rani Mukerji and Karan Johar on Sunday night surprised the fans as they visited a theatre during the screening of their 1998 romantic drama film 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' in Mumbai.
The makers of 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' re-released the film to celebrate 25 years of mega block-buster.
During the media interaction, Shah Rukh Kha said, “People think I made the film with my friend, but Karan was my friend’s son, Mr Yash Johar was my friend. He produced this wonderful film and many more prior to Karan becoming a director. My favourite was Agneenpath. Karan at the time was 23, and by the time we started the film, he was 24 years old. And I have son who is that old now, Aryan Khan.”
“Now when I look back upon it, I feel very happy and proud, that I launched a young son in a certain way because I was little more established than Karan was. I am very grateful for Yash Johar, and Hiro Aunty, to back the decision of making wonderful film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” added Shah Rukh Khan.
KKHH released on October 16, 1998, the film bagged several awards and received an overwhelming response from the audience and critics alike.
Apart from the lead cast, the flick also starred Salman Khan, Archana Puran Singh, Anupam Kher, and Johny Lever.
