Kejriwal-led govt will fulfill promises despite BJP’s efforts to hinder work: Atishi

New Delhi, Oct 8 (SocialNews.XYZ) Delhi PWD Minister Atishi on Sunday inspected some major roads and intersections in the Janakpuri and Tilak Nagar areas in the national capital.

While carrying out the inspection, Atishi took a jibe at the BJP-led Central government, saying: "No matter how many attempts BJP makes to hinder public work using ED and CBI, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will fulfill his promise to make Delhi's roads world-class."

"The BJP continues scheming against AAP leaders every single day. No matter how many attempts they make to stop public work using CBI-ED, our work to beautify Delhi will not stop at any cost."

Discussing the objective of the PWD under the Kejriwal government, Atishi said: "The Kejriwal government is committed to improving the quality of the city's roads as per world-class standards. It is the responsibility of all PWD engineers to focus on making roads better in their designated zones."

The PWD Minister also pulled up officials for neglecting broken sidewalks, and instructed PWD to repair and remove encroachments immediately.

She further gave directions to officials to ensure timely pruning of trees, with a special focus on beautifying horticulture in Central Verge.

Emphasising zero tolerance for any negligence in the mission to rejuvenate Delhi's roads, Atishi reiterated the need to create quality road infrastructure and integrate innovative civic ideas.
