Lal Salaam To Release On Pongal 2024

Mumbai, 2nd October 2023 (Newshelpline) - After Jailer, superstar Rajinikanth will feature in his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s comeback directorial titled Lal Salaam, and now the release date of the film is confirmed.

Aishwarya Rajinikanth took to her social media profile and shared a new poster, she wrote, “#thankful #blessed #LalSalaam Pongal 2024”

On the new poster features Rajinikanth and Vishnu Vishal with an old tomb building in the background. It also radiates old vibes, depicting Rajinikanth standing in front of a vintage car, with red colour palette as the name of the movie suggests.

The forthcoming sports drama film is written and directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth. It is produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under the banner Lyca Productions. The film stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead roles while Rajinikanth makes a cameo appearance in the film.

Earlier, Aishwaryaa shared the first-look poster on Instagram. It shows Rajinikanth as Moideen Bhai walking in the middle of what is believed to be communal riots in Bombay (now Mumbai) in 1993.

The makers announced that the film will be released in theatres during the festival of Pongal in January 2024.
