The Consul General of Vietnam, His Excellency Mr. Bien Quang Le along with Omung Kumar, Rahat Kazmi, Helly Shah, Rahul Singh, and imminent personalities graced the MOU Signing ceremony for the first India Vietnam co-production film to be shot in Vietnam, In Mumbai.
Lauding the initiative, Helly Shah said, “I think it is great collaboration between both the countries – India and Vietnam – I think with this step, the relationship between two nations will get stronger, the tourism in Vietnam will be promoted and we will have some great cinema to watch under this collaboration. It is a great initiative.”
Recently, Helly Shah attended the second edition of coveted Namaste Vietnam festival in Hanoi.
Talking about her visit and festival experience, Helly said, “It was a great experience, I recently went for Namaste-Vietnam festival, the vibe of the country is very different. Like we say that Indian is culturally very rich, I had the same feeling for Vietnam. People in the country are very warm, and grounded. I had a wonderful time. It is beautiful country and people must visit it; they will have a great experience.”
Helly Shah will soon be seen in an international feature film titled Kaya Palat directed by Shoaib Nikash Shah. The film is co-written by Rahat Kazmi and Shoib Nikash Shah.
Talking about the film, Helly said, “Kaya Palat will have its premiere in Boston, USA, by the end of September.”
