Female Character In Films Are Becoming More Prominent Says Kareena Kapoor Khan

Mumbai, 11th September 2023 (Newshelpline) - Actress and producer Kareena Kapoor Khan says that landscape of film is changing, even in a male dominant film, the female protagonist is treat prominently.

Kareena Kapoor Khan along with Amarita Somaiya, Ishita Jain and Nisha Shah were interacting with Newshelpline during the launch 36th edition of IMC women entrepreneurs exhibition in Mumbai.

Talking about the changing landscape of Indian cinema, Kareena Kapoor Khan said, “Women are there in every film, I think their characters are becoming more and more prominent, I think roles are becoming so much interesting, whether it is male dominating film, they are still writing roles in those films, lovely characters for the women, so it is a great time to be in films at the moment.”

Kareena Kapoor Khan has always been vocal about women empowerment and she is someone who has pushed for boundaries with her success story.

Parting with a message for young females, Kareena Kapoor said, “Woman have this energy in them, a certain kind of energy, that we can make things happen, and woman is someone who can do anything, she can achieve anything in this world and I believe in that because I am a mother and we have the kind of energy and potential to achieve all our dreams.”

On work front, Kareena Kapoor will soon be seen in Jaane Jaan, along with her maiden production The Buckingham Murders, and multi-starrer The Crew.
