Netflix Drops May December Teaser

Mumbai, 6th September 2023 (Newshelpline) - Netflix drops the first teaser for the film May December, helmed by Todd Haynes.

Revolving around a notorious tabloid romance that gripped the nation, a seemingly secure married couple with a huge age-gap buckles under the pressure when a popular television actress arrives to do research for a film about their past.

The film explores one of the great talents of the human species: our colossal refusal to look at ourselves.

The film stars Julianne Moore, Natalie Portman, Charles Melton, DW Moffett, Cory Michael Smith, Drew Scheid, and Jocelyn Shelfo.

Elizabeth (Natalie Portman), a popular TV star, is ingratiating herself into the lives of Gracie (Julianne Moore), whom she’ll be playing on-screen, and her much younger husband, Joe (Charles Melton), to better understand the psychology and circumstances that more than 20 years ago made them notorious tabloid figures.

The screenplay is written by Samy Burch, from a story by Samy Burch and Alex Mechanik.

May December will release in cinema halls on November 17th, 2023, then streaming on Netflix starting 1st December 2023.
