Nawazuddin Siddqui was interacting with Newshelpline during the teaser launch of legal-thriller Section 108.
When asked about his last couple of releases not working out, and what are his expectation from 2024, actor Nawazuddin said, “To be honest, I have no clue what to expect, or what I am making will turn out, I really can’t say, but I am certain that I will be very careful while selecting a script. I think I am out of the phase, I am done, as I did some films in between, which didn’t quite land.”
“But finally, I think I have realized that I should good movies, one or two of my experiments went bad. But I cannot predict what 2024 for me will be like, I don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow” added Nawazuddin.
This year, actor Nawazuddin starrer Afwaah, Jogira Sara Ra Ra, and Tiku Weds Sheru released, which didn’t quite land well with the audience.
Section 108 is presented by Anees Bazmee, helmed by Rashik Khan, also starring Regina Cassandra, Aasif Khan, Rumi Khan, Saanand Verma, Alisshaa Ohri and Saharsh Kumar Shukla.
When asked about his stylized lawyer avatar, actor Nawazuddin said, “Performance with style, I don’t think I was aiming for that, you might have felt it that way, I was just hoping that it will turn out okay.”
The film is slated for 2 Feb 2024 release.
