The film stars John Cena, Alison Brie, Juan Pablo Raba, Alice Eve, Marton Csokas, and Christian Slater.
An ex special forces operative stuck in a dead-end desk job (Cena) reluctantly takes on a gig to provide private security for a washed-up journalist (Brie) as she interviews a ruthless—but impeccably dressed—dictator (Raba).
When a military coup breaks out just as she is about to get the scoop of a lifetime, the unlikely trio must figure out how to survive the jungle, the assassins, and each other in order to make it out alive.
The screenplay is written by Jacob Lentz, produced by Camilo Buendia, Christopher Milburn, Steve Richards, Renee Tab, Christopher Tuffin.
The film opens in cinema halls from October 6th, 2023 this fall.
