Anupam Kher was interacting with Newshelpline during his recent visit to cinema halls to catch OMG-2.
Talking about the last 5 mega successful Hindi movies, Anupam Kher said, “I recently saw Gadar 2, and OMG-2, in theaters, as I wanted to know what a successful film feels like. There are 5 successful films in recent times, Pathaan, The Kashmir Files, The Kerala Story, Gadar 2, and OMG-2, these are the stories which are connected to India. These are common man stories, there are the stories of people, emotions, and country. And I didn’t see any agenda in any of these movies, these are total entertainers, and that is why people are enjoying them.”
Further adding, Anupam Kher audience of single-screen and multiplexes responds to good script. He added, “Today, hero of the film is script, and audience relate with it, everyone was enjoying the film, it was a houseful show, there were clapping at the right now. And I am talking about this multiplex audience, and I’ve heard people say that a lot, that single screen audience is not sophisticated, and multiplex audience is sophisticated, nothing like that, if a film is good, it goes from heart to heart.”
On the work front, Aupam Kher will soon be seen in The Vaccine War, The Signature and Kaagaz 2.
