I Am Excited For Jailer, OMG2 And Gadar 2 Says Abhishek Bachchan

Mumbai, 11th August 2023 (Newshelpline) – Actor Abhishek Bachchan, who is currently promoting his latest sports drama titled Ghoomer, said he is not just excited about his movie, but he is excited about Jailer, OMG2 and Gadar 2, as well.

Abhishek Bachchan was interacting with Newshelpline on the sidelines of a friendly cricket match between team Ghoomer and media.

Talking about his excitement about Ghoomer release, Abhishek Bachchan said, “I am not just excited for my movie, I am excited for other movies which are releasing, Jailer, Gadar 2, OMG2 and more, I am excited about each one of them, I love going to the movies. There is nothing better than going to the cinema, and sitting in an AC, getting yourself popcorn and hot samosa, cold-drink, and an ice-cream, and watching a movie. I am going to watch Gadar 2 and OMG2 back-to-back, I am excited.”

Ghoomer is written and directed by R. Balki, starring Abhishek Bachchan, Saiyami Kher, Angad Bedi and Shabana Azmi in leading roles. The film revolves around a female batsman, who loses her arm in an accident, but develops a new technique to bowl with her left arm.

Learning left arm bowling is tough, talking about the same, Abhishek said, “I am a lefty, but I bowl with my right arm, I am righty that way, so, I had to learn how to bowl with left arm, even Saiyami had to learn, bowl with her left, which is a difficult task, as you all would have come to know today. Bowling with your left is difficult, and it becomes even more difficult when you only have one hand, so there is no  counterweight.”

Talking about the match, which the media lost, Abhishek said, “First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone in the media, who came here and played with team Ghoomer, you guys bowled well. It was great fun, and everyone has made a decision, that after 18th August, post the release of the film, there will be a revenge match, and we will see you all then.”

The film will premiere as the opening film at the 14th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne on 11 August 2023 and will release theatrically in India on 18 August.
