Close friends such as Sudhir Mishra, Saurabh Shukla, Ketan Mehta, Deepa Sahi, Ayushmann Khurrana, Anubhav Sinha, Anurag Kashyap, Nitish Tiwari, Ashwini Tiwari, Imtiaz Ali, Neeraj Ghaywan, Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapoor among many others turned up at the house party in Bandra West.
Filmmaker Hansal Mehta, dressed in an easy kurta and baggy pajama and sneakers, stepped out of the party, and interacted with the media. He thanked everyone for braving the rain and apologized to paparazzi for making them wait.
Ayushmann Khurrana along with his wife, filmmaker, and author Tahira Kashyap Khurrana arrived late at the party. The Dream Girl actor was sporting denim and a shirt, while Tahira opted for a stunning colorful saree.
Last evening, Hansla Mehta also dropped the first teaser for his next venture, Scam 2003 – The Telgi Story, based on Abdul Karim Telgi stamp-paper scandal.
The series is helmed by Tushar Hiranandani, starring Gagan Dev Riar, the series is adapted from the Hindi book 'Reporter ki Diary', authored by journalist Sanjay Singh, who broke the story of the scam back in the time. The series is all set to stream on the OTT platform Sony Liv from September 2.
Hansal Mehta is also busy with The Buckingham Murders, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan.
