It Is Every Household’s Story Says Dharmendra About Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahanai

Veteran actor Dharmendra, who made a comeback to big-screen after a long gap with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, said the story of the film is every household’s story. 

 

Dharmendra along with Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh and the entire ensemble was interacting with Newshelpline at the success press meet of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani in Mumbai. 

 

Talking about the film and relating with the story, Dharmendra said, “If the captain is good, then the team plays very well. And Karan says that he has come after five years. Karan may come after five or seven years; he will go after showing his Jauhar. When I heard this story, I thought it is a story of every household. It's a good story. The place you all have in your heart for me, will never let it go.”

 

Veteran star Dharmendra also praised Ranveer Singh, he added, “He is a really very good actor and a very emotional person. I enjoyed every bit of time with this unit.”

 

On a lighter note, Dharmendra also talked about his kiss with Shabana Azmi in RRKPK, he said, “People have been messaging me about the same, and I said, it’s my right hand job (mere daaye haath ka kaam hain)….every time I gets an opportunity, I hit a sixer…the kind of place fans has given me in their hearts, I’d never let it go” 

 

Romantic family drama stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in the lead roles. The film has minted a whopping 150 crore at the box-office. 

 

Dharmendra is also preparing for his role in forthcoming Apne 2, with Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Rajveer Deol.
