Kailash Kher hosted a musical extravaganza, titled Nayi Udaan, to celebrate his 50th birthday. Imminent personalities from the music fraternity graced the evening, such as Hariprasad Chaurasia, Amruta Fadnavis, Papon, Shaan, Suresh Wadkar, and many more.
Talking about Kailash Kher, classical flautist Hariprasad said, “I have known Kailash Kher for the longest, I wish God would bless him with a long life, he has been entertaining us for the longest, he is one who can combine words and music. He is talented and worked hard for his place.”
When asked about his favorite Kailash’ song, maestro Hariprasad said, “He is younger to me in age, but he is much bigger in his vision, and God has blessed him with a great talent, and I can see the kind of love and respect he has today. I love all his songs; with each song he does something different.”
Kailash Kher received the Padma Shri award in 2017. He has also won two Filmfare Awards, with his powerful voice and his unique style of music, he has established himself as one of the most popular playback singers in India.
