Fun On Sets Invariably Transfer On-Screen Says Ranveer Singh

Mumbai, 19th July 2023 (Newshelpline) - Actor Ranveer Singh, who will be seen playing the role of fun and unabashed Rocky in forthcoming RRKPK, says when you have fun making the film it invariably transfers to the on-screen. 

 

Ranveer Singh was interacting with Newshelpline during the song Ve Kamleya launch in Delhi. 

 

Talking about fun element of making the film, and humorous quotient of family drama, Ranveer Singh said, “Karan Johar told me, it is his most humorous film ever. So, there is a generous amount of humor throughout the film, first half and second half. And because of that, the kind of energy and vibe on the set’s fun, because the entire crew was young and you know Karan, he is a born entertainer, he is full of beans, always cracking jokes. So, it was a very zany, and fun vibe, I would wake up and look forward to going on the sets because it was just so much fun.” 

 

“It was like a bunch of friends coming together and working on a film. It is important to have that vibration and energy on the sets, because the fun you have while making the film, invariably transfer on the screen. So, we hope, you like it and laugh a lot” added Ranveer. 

 

The film revolves around Rocky Randhawa and Rani Chatterjee, two poles around people falling in love, one being a hard Punjabi and one being a Bengali. The couple realizes that their families don't like each other, and they decide to swap places in their respective families to get a better understanding of culture and families. 

 

The film also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in the lead roles and is set to hit the theatres on July 28.
