During his interacting with Newshelpline at a press conference, Ajaz Khan said, “When I came back, I didn’t know how to use the toilet, when I ate, I found roti’s a little different, I’d even ate daal with worms in it, there was once a rat in my food, nobody cares about the prisoners, even if you die inside, no one will care. The prisons are being run such bad state. I am casted out as a criminal and a prisoner, and nothing has been proven in court.”
When asked if he met Raj Kundra and Aryan Khan during his prision stint, Ajaz Khan said, “Raj Kundra was depressed, his condition was really bad, he lost 10-15 kilo, but he faced everything. He faced some really terrible times, even Aryan also faced some of the worst conditions. It is a prison, it is meant to give you bad times, I really wish that even my worst enemies don’t go to prison.”
Khan was apprehended by NCB for the possession of 4.5g of banned substance. He was in Arthur Road Jail for 26 months after which he was granted bail by the Supreme Court of India.
Ajaz Khan has starred in movies such as Rakta Charitra and Allah Ke Banday and acted in several television daily soaps including Rahe Tera Aashirwaad and Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki.
