The film was earlier slated for 7th July release but it has been postponed till 20thJuly 2023. Helmed by Aneel Kanneganti, the film also stars Srinivasa Reddy, Vidyullekha Raman, and Makarand Deshpande in other important roles.

It is a historical fiction and an investigative thriller. In mythology, Hidimba Sura (Bheema married his sister) is a rakshasa and the tribe in the film reflects his ideology.
The film shooting began before the pandemic and, as such, was completed slowly. The film releases on 20th July 2023.
