The hit comedy franchise 'Housefull' is set to return with its fifth installment. The film will be released in theatres during Diwali, 2024.
The upcoming installment stars Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh, the two actors who have been a constant in the series. The makers will soon make other additions to the cast.
The film, backed by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Tarun Mansukhani, will soon go into production and is anticipated to bring a comedy that will leave the larger audience in stitches.
Apart from Housefull 5, actor Akshay Kumar has a slew of projects in his kitty, such as OMG 2, Soorarai Pottru remake, The Great Indian Rescue, Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Jolly LLB 3 and Hera Pheri 3.
Written and directed by Amit Rai, OMG 2, also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam, Arun Govil and Aamir Naik, the film revolves around the subject of Indian education system. It is scheduled to be released on 11 August 2023.
