Sonnalli Seygall was interacting with Newshelpline during the special screening of Aseq, which is written and directed by Sarim Momin, starring Vardhan Puri, Siddhant Kapoor, Adi Chugh, Emma Kaler, Julian Gillard, Elena Fernandes and more.
Aseq is the first movie of Sonnalli after her wedding, talking about it she said, “After a blockbuster few days ago, and I am super excited about Aseq, I got married a few days ago, that was my blockbuster, I think I am in a blockbuster phase”
The film, Aseq revolves around a couple, who moves into an ancient house, only to start experiencing some strange supernatural events. Haunted secrets from the dark alleys of the past come knocking at their doors.
When asked about challenges of horror genre, Sonnalli said, “The story is quiet interesting, but more than that, we have tried to create a world, that is exciting, and I don’t want to say much, you have to experience this film, once you watch it, you’d feel and understand it, because this one is more of supernatural than horror.”
The special screening of the film saw Shraddha Kapoor, Karan Singh Chhabra, Priyaank Sharma, Bunty Walia, Vanessa Parmar, Sahil Salathia, Ravi Dubey, Eshanya Maheshwari, KRK and more in attendance.
The film starts streaming on Jio Cinema from today, 23rd June 2023.
