One Shouldn’t Offend Religious Sentiments Says Sherlyn Chopra On Adipurush

Mumbai, 22nd June 2023 (Newshelpline) - Actress and rapper Sherlyn Chopra slam the makers of Adipurush for offending religious sentiments and urge everyone not to mess with holy books, regardless of religion.

Sherlyn Chopra was interacting with Newshelpline to promote her debut rap song, Yeh Karte Hain Judge.

When asked about ongoing controversy of Adipurush, and its badly penned dialogues, which has offended millions and people are calling for a ban on the movie, Sherlyn Chopra said, “Even I have heard the same, all I can say right now, we shouldn’t mess around with our religion, religious books which are pious and holy, and we shouldn’t hurt religious sentiments of public, this is absolutely wrong.”

“It doesn’t matter what the religion is, whether its Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, or Christian, whatever the religion might be, we must not, at any cost, offend anyone’s religious belief, and if our films do that, they offend the sentiments, then it is shameful and condemnable” added Sherlyn.

Sherlyn Chopra also slammed Rakhi Sawant, called her a two-faced person.

“I must have lost my mind when I supported her, she is not a good person, she harbors a lot of jealousy, she is two faced, on one hand she calls me her sister and on another, she backbites,” said Sherlyn.

Sherlyn and Rakhi have been butting heads for the longest, not so long ago, Chopra filed a case against Rakhi, and she was almost arrested by police.
