Aanand L Rai Celebrates 10 Years Of Raanjhanaa

Mumbai, 19th June 2023 (Newshelpline) - Aanand L Rai is perhaps one of the most prolific and celebrates filmmaker who has presented every mood, emotion and feeling wrapped around a social issues, celebrates 10 years of Raanjhanaa, his fourth directorial film after Strangers, Thodi Life Thoda Magic and Tanu Weds Manu.

Raanjhanaa, a musical romantic drama spinned around college politics, starred Dhanush, Sonam Kapoor, Abhay Deol, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Swara Bhaskar. The film marked the debut of south superstar Dhansh in Hindi cinema.

In the video, Aanand L Rai talks about getting Dhanush for the role of Kundan Shankar. The video also features Dhanush, who talks about the his challenges during the shoot.

The film was written by Himanshu Sharma, is produced by Krishika Lulla under the banner of Eros International. The background score and songs were composed by A. R. Rahman and the lyrics of the tracks were penned by Irshad Kamil.
