I Am A Lioness Says Sherlyn Chopra At ‘Yeh Karte Hain Judge’ Song Launch

Mumbai, 16th June 2023 (Newshelpline) - Controversial and provocative diva of Bollywood, Sherlyn Chopra launched her debut rap song, Yeh Karte Hain Judge, and believes she is lioness. 

 

Sherlyn along with Keshva and Hardik was interacting with the media during the song launch. The song depicts the double standards and harsh judgement of society. The song is based on diva’s personal journey. 

 

Talking about the song, Sherlyn said, “My fans believe that I am nothing short of a Lioness, because I say whatever I want to say without fear and with a lot of courage, on social media or otherwise. I think I got the courage because of my journey. And this rap song, it originated from my journey.” 

 

“I am so grateful to all the people who have mistreated me, harassed me, molested me, they are one who are responsible for me reaching this place” added Sherlyn.

 

The song is crooned and penned by Sherlyn Chopra, who also features in the video. The song is co-written by Keshav and composed by Hardik. 

 

Within 24 hours of its release, the song has clocked a whopping 4 million hits. The video features Sherlyn in a cage, which the actress says is a creative prop which signifies the mentality of people. 

 

“The cage in the song has some meaning, I wanted one, so I asked my art director to get me one. Because this cage signifies that mentality, where people are judgmental. This causes the unrest of a soul, who is caught-up with dilemmas, because people are judgmental and have a wrong perception. There is only one way out of this cage, by kicking the door down. We got to stop caring about what people have to say and believe in yourself” said Sheryln about the cage in the song. 

 

On the work front, Sherlyn Chopra will next be seen in three short films. She also has a role in a web-series which will be released on a prominent OTT platform.
