Sanjay Dutt And Priya Dutt Remembers Sunil Dutt On His Death Anniversary

Mumbai, 25th May 2023 (Newshelpline) - Actor Sanjay Dutt and Priya Dutt remember their father actor and politician Sunil Dutt on his death anniversary.

Sharing a video post on his social media, featuring some of the most memorable moments with his father, Sanjay Dutt captioned his post, “Miss you every day, Dad. Your wisdom and guidance continue to inspire me”

Politician Priya Dutt wrote a note, it read, “1929 - 2005, 18 years on this day my life changed forever, but you have been by my side every step of the way through my journey , as my guide and my strength. I tried to follow the path you left behind to the best of my ability, but never could I match up to you. You were and will always be my hero and my inspiration, there will never be another like you. You left behind an imprint in the hearts of all those you touched and your memories will live in them forever. Rest in peace my dearest pa, till we meet again @duttsanjay @namrata62 #sunildutt”

Known for his stellar performances in Mother India, Sadhna, Insan Jaag Utha, Sujata, Mujhe Jeene Do, Gumraah, Waqt, Khandan and more, actor Sunil Dutt took a break from movies and joined politics in 1984.

He was elected to the Parliament of India for five terms from the constituency of Mumbai North West. He was the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports in the Manmohan Singh government (2004–2005) and also a former Sheriff of Mumbai. He passed away on 25th May 2005, due to a cardiac arrest.
