Mumbai, 19th May 2023 (Newshelpline) - Ahead of her Netflix release Kathal, actress Sanya Malhotra bags the Femina India – Promising Performer of the year award and pens a heartfelt note.
Sharing a string on pictures on her social media with the trophy, Sanya Malhotra wrote, “Thank you @feminaindia for honoring me with the Promising Performer of the Year award last night”
“I’m so grateful and blessed to be part of films like Kathal. This film is straight out of our hearts. I’m nothing without the support of my fans and well-wishers who have been showering me with a lot of love for all my films and my characters. And the award is like the icing on the cake!! Dil se Shukriya” added Sanya.
Sanya’s new release, Kathal - A Jackfruit Mystery also known as Kathal, is a satirical comedy drama film written by Ashok Mishra and directed by Yashowardhan Mishra for Netflix.
The film is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Guneet Monga and Achin Jain under the banners Balaji Motion Pictures and Sikhya Entertainment.
The film features Sanya Malhotra, Anant V Joshi, Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, Brijendra Kala and Neha Saraf in lead roles. The film is scheduled to be released on 19 May 2023 on Netflix.
Apart from Kathal, actor Sanya is also busy wrapping Sam Bahadur with Vicky Kaushal, and Jawan with Shahrukh Khan.
