Satyaprem Ki Katha is helmed by Sameer Vidwans. The film is jointly produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Namah Pictures. Earlier the film was titled Satyanarayan Ki Katha, but it due backlash the title faced as it offended Hindu sentiments, the makers changed the title.
The film features Kartik Aaryan as Satyaprem "Sattu" Aggarwal and Kiara Advani as Katha Desai, the duo is pretty much in love, as shown in teaser, and ties the knot. The teaser is filled with beautiful locales and mega sets.
The film also marks the first outing for Kiara Advani after her marriage to Sidharth Malhotra.
The film also stars Gajraj Rao, Supriya Pathak and Bhaumik Ahir in pivotal roles. The film is scheduled to release theatrically on 29 June 2023.
