The film revolves around a lower middle-class family struggling to make ends meet, and the impossibly photogenic daughter, who seems to be at the heart of conflict that arises over the issue of a male child and the discrimination against the girl child in this household. On the work front, Esha Deol was last seen in Hunter: Tootega Nahi Todega series, created and directed by Prince Dhiman and Alok Batra, and produced under Saregama and Yoodlee Films.
