SADC aims to promote development, economic growth, and peace and security in the southern African region. The sixteen Member States include Angola, Botswana, Comoros, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Eswatini, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Of these, 10 countries fall under the jurisdiction of the Philippine Embassy in Pretoria.
