Training of NYSC EMVs on Disaster Management, First Aid and Casualty Handling

The Ekiti Operations Office organized a training on Disaster Management, First Aid and Casualty Handling for NYSC/NEMA EMVs corps members in Ado Ekiti today 28th March 2023 in readiness ahead of Raining seasons.

This is to equip them with the requisite knowledge on measures to prevent flooding during the raining seasons and also technical know how on First Aid and Casualty Handling in order to be able to render assistance to victims in time of Disasters especially in their locality.

While declaring the training open, the Head of Ekiti Operations Office, Mr Kadiri Olanrewaju said it is essential to carry out the training so as to be proactive enough as the Corps Members are expected to carry out sensitization and awareness campaign within their locality, in market places, public motor parks and most especially in their Place of Assignments.

The Corps Members were taught: Concept of Disaster Management, NEMA and it’s functions as well as First Aid training.
