‘Rave Party’, a story of youth, drugs and politics

The way they watch and perceive cinema has changed drastically. The diversity is quite evident in the films now a days. Young and aspiring directors of today's generation know the pulse of audience. They know what to dish out according to the taste of movie lovers. The upcoming movie 'Rave Party' has a diverse storyline.

Directed by Raju Bongani, 'Rave Party' is being bankrolled under the banner of Bongani Entertainments. The movie is being planned to release as a pan-India flick in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam languages. The pooja ceremony was held in a grand manner marking the occasion of Ugadhi festival on Friday March 24. Producer Abhishek Aggarwal, 'Tiger Nageshwara Rao' director Vamsee, director Sasikiran Tikka, UF Vice President Laxman and others have attended the event.

Krish Siddipalli is playing the lead in the film. Actors Suchendra Prasad, Tarak Ponnappa and Pratima are playing key roles in the film. Venkat Mannam is the cinematographer and Dilip Bandari is rendering the music. The poster released by the makers has raised the curiosity among the netizens.

 

Speaking on the occasion, director Raju Bongani expressed his happiness for making a straight Kannada film. "The entire film will be shot in Kannada first, and then the film will be released in other languages on a pan-India level. Shooting will be commenced from April 3 and all kinds of preparations are being made to shoot the film in a single schedule," he added. Pan-India producer Abhishek Agarwal, who attended the pooja ceremony of 'Rave Party' expressed his heartfelt thanks to directors Vamsee, Shashikiran Tikka and others.

The director said, "Usually we come across several types of rave parties in the news. But what happens actually at this rave party? How the youth behaves? what drugs the youth take in that party? Why are politicians encouraging this kind of tradition?" Raju Bongoni said that the film will be made into a suspenseful and engaging thriller with the point of what is the agenda of the political leaders behind it? "And how the lives of these young people take a turn? Most of these parties usually held in places like Udupi, Goa and Manipal, for which the schedule is being finalized to shoot this film in those places. I thank the media friends for their support. After completion of shoot, we're planning to do whirlwind campaign across the country," he said.

The main lead in the film, Krish Siddipalli, thanked director Raju Bongoni and the producers of the film for providing the opportunity. "I will try to reach the expectation that is entrusted upon me by giving my best on the silver screen. I thank producer Abhishek Agarwal garu, directors Vamsee, Sasikiran Tikka garu and others who attended the pooja ceremony," he added.
