Kenya and Egypt Discuss Areas of Mutual Cooperation in Healthcare and Education

The Cabinet Secretary of Health, Dr. Nakhumicha S. Wafula, today met with the Egyptian Ambassador to Kenya, Wael Nasreidin, to discuss areas of mutual cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a range of issues related to healthcare and education, including innovations in telemedicine and new malaria control products. They also welcomed plans for the twinning of learning institutions and a scholarship program for the training of healthcare workers.

These discussions were a positive step towards strengthening the partnership between Kenya and Egypt. Both parties expressed their commitment to working together to achieve common goals in healthcare and education.
