ProjectK Will Release in 2024

Mumbai, 18th Feb 2023 (NewsHelpline) - After unveiling concept posters and making teasers, the makers of ProjectK, finally confirms the release date of science fiction film written and directed by Nag Ashwin. The film is slated for 12th Jan 2024.

The official handle of Vyjayanthi Movies dropped a brand new poster and confirmed the release date, it said, “12-1-24 it is! ProjectK, Happy Mahashivratri. @SrBachchan @deepikapadukone @nagashwin7 @VyjayanthiFilms”

Project K is the working title for the film which stars  Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone (in her Telugu film debut) and Disha Patani.

Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the film is simultaneously shot in Telugu and Hindi languages.

The film was announced in February 2020 coinciding with 50 years of Vyjayanthi Movies. The film's production was delayed by a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Filming began in July 2021 at a futuristic set erected at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Made at an estimated budget of 500 crore, Project K is one of the most expensive Indian films ever made.

The film's music score is composed by Mickey J. Meyer with cinematography by Dani Sanchez Lopez. Project K is scheduled to be released in cinemas on 12 January 2024.
