President Ramkalawan to Attend World Government Summit 2023

The President of the Republic, Mr Wavel Ramkalawan will join various Heads of State and Government for the upcoming World Government Summit in Dubai from 13 to 15th February 2023  under the banner theme “Shaping Future Governments”. The summit will witness the participation of 10,000 delegates from 150 countries around the globe including presidents, ministers, governments officials, heads of international organizations and companies, thought leaders, global experts and prominent business leaders from the private sector.

The President will also deliver a keynote address during the plenary session of the summit and join three other African presidents in a round table discussion on economic issue.

He will be accompanied by the Minister for Finance, National Planning & Trade Mr. Naadir Hassan, the Minister for Investment, Entrepreneurship and Industry Mrs Devika Vidot and other senior government officials.

During President Ramkalawan’s absence from the country, his duties and responsibilities will be discharged by Vice-President Ahmed Afif.
