Sindooram, set against the backdrop of Naxalism, is the story of the people in a small village in Telangana. The entire story takes place in 2003. The story is about the tiff between landlords, farmers, and naxals. At a time when people are vexed with the heirarchy culture in the village and frustrated with how the upper class is fraudulently taking away lands from them, in comes Sirisha Reddy (Brigida Saga) as an MRO in the village. She is someone who follows the rules and fights for what is right.Ravi (played by Dharma) is her college friend but is a member of Singanna Dalam, led by Singanna (played by Shiva Balaji). Things took a U-turn when Sirisha had to contest in ZPTC elections in the village. What makes an MRO contest ZPTC elections? What is the main motto of Singanna Dalam? What made Ravi join communism? Will Sirisha succeed in becoming a ZPTC? is the remaining story, but with many twists and turns.

Analysis:

Sindooram has depicted many real-life incidents in the most natural way possible. Some of the country's smaller villages still follow the practises depicted in the movie. The wrongdoings by the Naxals or the upper class are effectively shown in the movie. The director was able to depict them in the most captivating manner. The narration in the first half was crisp and engaging. A story like Sindooram is difficult to tell. Criticizing the government, including the police system, and Naxalite ideologies is not so easy. Any such movie that alters its message to convey its message, fails miserably. However, the director took a big risk in choosing this story, and we must admit he did justice to his work and to this story. Each conversation was fired like a bullet.

The cameraman did a wonderful job showing visuals from 2003. They looked very natural, as if the film was genuinely set in 2003. Furthermore, the soundtrack complemented the film's plot and pacing beautifully. It was compelling, and the music brought a lot of pleasure to the whole movie. Locations scouted for this film were eye pleasing. With the exception of the second half, the sharp editing helped maintain a solid pace.

Performances:

Brigid remained the showstopper. Her performance was like the backbone of the film. As an MRO, she carried herself pretty well in the film. The emotional scenes in her might leave you teary-eyed. Dharma was pretty good in his element. His portrayals of a lover boy in the first half and a raged human in the second half were both excellent.Especially the climax scene. His expressions and acting were very impressive.

Siva Balaji, Dayanand, or any other cast member have contributed to the screenplay. Overall, the casting decisions made by the team were perfect.

Conclusion:

Overall, Sindooram has its hits and misses. However, it has an indepth message to convery and the directed succeeded in it. The twists in the end were good. And we recommend you this film to your watch list.
