Kangana Ranaut along with Aunpam Kher and Satish Kaushik were interacting with Newshelpline on the sidelines of Emergency wrap-up party.
When asked about her post about financial struggle, Kangana said, “Money is worthless if it doesn’t serve a purpose, and I am someone who finishes what I start, putting all my money in the project wasn’t all that difficult for me, but going to banks and getting the paperwork done in middle of shoot was hectic”
“I came to Mumbai with 500 bucks, even if I lose everything and go bankrupt, I assure you, I will rebuild the whole thing in no time” added Kangana.
Adding about the film, which many believes is a propaganda as Kangana is a hard BJP supporter, she said, “Films is not sensationalizing or criticizing or exposing anyone or anything, it is not an expose, the film is about our constitution, Emergency was a dark phase, and we did try and make something positive out of it, the film will shed some light on the event”
The biographical drama is based on the 1977 Indian Emergency, it stars Ranaut as former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi.
