Bahrain welcomes re-election of Egypt as member of United Nations (UN) Peacebuilding Commission

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain welcomes the re-election of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the membership of the Peacebuilding Commission for a two-year term 2023-2024.

The Ministry expresses appreciation for the pioneering role of Egypt and its wise foreign policy, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in consolidating regional and global peace, settling disputes through diplomacy, supporting reconstruction efforts and promoting sustainable development, especially in the African Union, wishing the country further development.
