On 16 December 2022, Ambassador Thippawan Supamitkitja paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mrs. Olga Cabarga GÓMEZ, Ambassador of Spain to Senegal. Both sides exchanged views on ways to cooperate with Senegal, including promoting economic relations, particularly, business opportunities and market for businesses in Senegal. For development cooperation, Thailand highlights the focused area on agriculture and fisheries while Spain highlights the support on decentralization for Senegalese Government. Both sides also shared common area of interest in development cooperation on public health with Senegal. Furthermore, the Spanish Ambassador shared her experience on managing the issue of irregular migration, which is the priority for the Spanish Embassy in Senegal.
