Traders in Jammu to issue bills in Sanskrit also

Jammu, Dec 1 (SocialNews.XYZ) The businessmen of Jammu have taken the initiative to issue bills, receipts, etc., in Sanskrit to promote the language.

In this regard, a Sanskrit market was organised on Tuesday at Jammu's largest grain market warehouse, Nehru Market, in which students from the Central Sanskrit University, Shri Ranbir Campus, Kot Bhalwal participated.

On this occasion, the names of all the goods sold in the warehouse were written in Sanskrit and the customers were spoken to in Sanskrit and bills prepared in Sanskrit were issued to them.

The programme was inaugurated by former minister Sham Lal Sharma. DIG Shakti Pathak, Chidu Mani Sanskrit Sansthan Trustee, Director Agriculture Jammu K.K. Sharma, Manish Sharma and Y.V. Sharma were also present.

Speakers on this occasion said that this was an important initiative. Sham Lal Sharma said, "The Sanskrit language has a glorious past and it is the mother of many languages, therefore such measures must be taken for its promotion and development." He said that Dr. Uttam Chand Shastri Pathakji and his family have contributed to the development of Sanskrit language in India. "I played an important role," he added.

Shakti Pathak said, "Sanskrit is the ancient language of India which is protecting our culture and it is important that Sanskrit reaches the masses so that the wonderful culture of India can be further spread".

Mahant Rohit Shastri, President, Shri Kailakh Jyotish Oyam Vedic Sanathan Trust, said that the script of Sanskrit language is Devanagari script. "This language was chosen by the sages for the writing of mantras because the pronunciation of the words of this language creates the proper vibrations in the mind and the Vedas appeared in this language and the Upanishads, Ramayana, Mahabharata and Puranas in this sacred language. were written. Sanskrit literature is the richest and most complete literature in human history. The main reason for doing this program is to promote Dewani Sanskrit."
