Boney Kapoor Support Nanhi Kali, Shares A Throwback Picture With Sridevi And Janhvi Kapoor

Mumbai, 3rd November 2022 (NewsHelpline) – On the day of Mili’s  release, director and producer Boney Kapoor share a throwback picture of Sridevi and Janvhi Kapoor as a toddler, and pens a heartfelt note to offer his support to Nanhi Kali initiative. 

 

Sharing a picture on his social media, Boney Kapoor penned, “I felt like the king of the world when meri Janhvi mujhe 'mili'. When I first saw her, I knew without a doubt that she would make me proud. I am easily her biggest fan! I am sure many more fathers have memories like mine”

The initiative, Project Nanhi Kali is an annual charity event, Proud Fathers For Daughters, to bridge the gender gap in out patriarchal society. Proud Fathers For Daughters was conceptualised in 2014 in the aftermath of the Nirbhaya tragedy, with an aim to change attitudes towards girls.

 

Meanwhile on the work front, Boney Kapoor’s next bankrolled drama film, Mili is a survival thriller helmed by Mathukutty Xavier. The film stars Janhvi Kapoor, Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa. The film released today.
