Akshaye Khanna Is A Good Actor Says Ajay Devgn

Mumbai, 18th October 2022 (NewsHelpline) – Actor Ajay Devgn praises Akshaye Khanna, calls him a good actor who has helped him bring out the best in him for Drishyam 2.

Ajay Devgn was interacting with NewsHelpline on the sidelines of Drishyam 2 promotion here in Mumbai.

Akshaye Khanna and Ajay Devgn shared the screen space in Deewangee, and now the duo is collaborating for Drishyam 2.

When asked about working with Akshaye Khanna and casting for the role, Ajay said, “Casting, I think Abhishek Pathak decided, but I think it is always fun to work with good actor, I share a great repo with Akshaye Khanna, it is always great to work with a good actor, because a good actor brings out the best in you as well. And we needed somebody like him, and its great we got him”

Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s character in Drishyam franchise are conflicted, they both are wrong and yet there is moral dilemma that propel their quest to keep on fighting.

Talking about the moral flaws of the characters, Ajay said, “Both the characters are right in their place, there is this mother whose son is killed at such a young age, and she is not ready to accept any explanation whether his son was right or wrong, or why or what killed him, and I think most of the mothers are like that, and then there is my character, a man trying to do whatever he can to protect his family, so this clash becomes even more interesting because usually we have one negative and one positive character, and we know who is going to win, but Drishyam clash is an emotional clash”

Drishyam 2 is directed by Abhishek Pathak. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Akshaye Khanna, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav and Rajat Kapoor. It is a remake of the 2021 Malayalam film of the same name, slated for 18th November 2022 release.
