Aberaam Varma’s ‘Neetho’ asks if your wedding is insured…

Young actor Aberaam Varma of 'Manu' and 'Raahu' fame is coming out with 'Neetho', a breezy romantic drama populated by a range of characters from different socio-economic strata. Its trailer, released at the hands of director Hanu Raghavapudi, holds our attention by presenting a variety of characters and situations.

The male protagonist Varun is a financially not-so-sound insurance agent at an MNC. His personal life looks up when he meets a beautiful woman from an economically affluent background. But soon enough, confusions and doubts get the better of him. Rajeev Kanakala's Babai character chips in with a Tinder-type quote when he observes that men grope in unclear thinking most of the time, while women know what they are doing.

The film, set to be released in theatres on September 30, has been directed by Balu Sharma, who seems to have given a Sekhar Kammula-esque treatment to the drama. The characters look well-rounded, while a passing hint at the element of 'rebound relationship' convinces us Aberaam is delivering a thoughtful, sensible film.

Heroine Saathvika Raj seems to have got a strong role. The production values are befitting of a multiplex release, complete with Vivek Sagar's enjoyable music. Ravi Varma, Sunjiit Akkinepally, Neha Krishna, Kavya Raman, Apoorva Srinivasan, Mohit Baid and Pavithra Lokesh have different roles.
