Patna, Sep 13 (SocialNews.XYZ) A first-year medical student of the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Science (IGIMS), Patna has approached the National Medical Commission complaining of continuous ragging inside the campus.
The student, who took admission in 2021, has accused the 2020 batch senior students at the premier government-run institute for subjecting her to the ordeal.
As per her letter, the senior students, regularly for the past few days, call her in the night and force her to dance before them. She also alleged that if she refuses, they abuse her.
The Commission has written a letter to the administrators of IGIMS, asking them to reply in 72 hours.
The IGIMS officials are currently tightlipped on this matter and not sharing any information about it. However, the administration has activated an anti-ragging cell to keep an eye on illegal activities inside the campus.
