Nia Sharma was interacting with NewsHelpline on the sidelines of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 10 press-meet.
Talking about her love for dancing, Nia said, “I am from Delhi, so I am the kind of girl who probably danced the most at every function, and then I moved to Mumbai, and I loved partying at one point of time. I have danced a lot in my life and now I am here, dancing professionally, it feels great”
Hosted by Maniesh Paul, the dance show has filmmaker Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit, and Nora Fatehi as Judges.
Nia Sharma also added that being part of the show has been nothing short of her long-lasting dream coming true, she said, “Ever since I stepped into entertainment industry, since than I have wanted to do Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, it is not just a show, it is a galaxy of stars, and you want to be part of the show. And I finally got the opportunity, I am doing the show and it feels unreal, and journey on the show has been excruciating, I think, I’d taken my pillow and blanket in the hall, I am practically living here”
“We have shot the first episode and shooting for the show felt very beautiful. The first performance came loaded with a lot of excitement, jitters, panic attack and entire range of other emotions, I’d probably felt everything and after that when your performance goes good, it feels like everything. I've felt my best and I am the happiest right now."
The tenth edition of show will see Ali Ashar, Faisal Shaikh, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Gashmeer Mahajani, Niti Taylor, Shilpa Shinde, Amruta Khanvilkar, Gunjan Sinha, Rubina Dilaik, Paras Kalnawat and Zorawar Kalra as contestants.
Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 will premiere on September 3 onwards, every Saturday and Sunday at 8 PM on Colors.
