As India celebrates its 76th Independence Day this year, actress Nidhhi Tapadiaa discusses patriotism and what it means to her. Read on:
“Patriotism, in my opinion, begins at home. As a child, I used to watch movies about our freedom struggle with my parents. I still watch movies of that type. As a result, it has now become a habit. My parents instilled in me the significance and importance of patriotism. I love my country and would like to encourage all parents to teach their children about it. Simple actions like keeping their house clean, not littering, and helping people in need also count as patriotism,” Nidhhi Tapadiaa said.
Talking on the work front, Nidhhi Tapadia rose to prominence with her song 'Jatta Koka,' which was performed by legendary Punjabi singer Kulwinder Billa. Within a month of its debut, Tony Kakkar's YouTube channel had over 7 million views for the song "Kiss You." She has also appeared in an episode of the renowned TV show CID.
Nidhhi Tapadiaa has also appeared in campaigns for Elle India, Manyavar Mohey, Arvind Mills, Wai Wai Noodles, Skincraft, Vedics, Gemini Oil, Max, Easybuy, Central, Dmart, and many others.
