Last week, action star John Abraham kick-started the shooting for his next movie titled Tehran, a political action thriller but the makers didn’t make any official announcement about the leading lady in the movie, until now.
Actress Manushi Chhillar took to her social media profile and shared the first look of her character from the film. She also shared a working still with John Abraham, where the duo is seen holding guns. She captioned it, “Super excited to join the one & only @thejohnabraham on #Tehran. This journey is going to be really special! #DineshVijan #ArunGopalan @shobhnayadav @sandeep_leyzell @writish1 @ashmakerz @maddockfilms @bakemycakefilms”
Inspired by true events, helmed by Arun Gopalan, the film is written by Ritesh Shah and Ashish Prakash Verma, and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Shobhna Yadav, and Sandeep Leyzell.
It is also reported that Manushi Chillar has already signed one more project with YRF, she has been signed to play the lead opposite Vicky Kaushal in The Great Indian Family.
Apart from Tehran, actor John Abraham will soon be seen in Ek Villain Returns, which is helmed by Mohit Suri, also starring Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria.
John is also shooting for Pathaan, his first ever movie with Shah Rukh Khan, also starring Deepika Padukone in the lead role. The film is bankrolled by Yash Raj Productions and helmed Siddharth Anand.
