Eritrea: Athlete Nazareth Woldu wins fourth place

Eritrean Athlete Nazareth Woldu wines fourth place at the 18th World Athletics Championship held in Oregon, the US.

At the competition that witnessed strong competitiveness, Ethiopian athlete stood first while Kenyan athlete second and Israeli athlete third.

Nazareth Woldu who finished the race in 2 hours, 20 minutes and 29 seconds has improved her record of April 2022 held in Daegu, South Korea.

She has also improved for the fourth time her national record.

Likewise, at the men’s marathon competition held on Sunday, Eritrean athletes finished 16th and 22nd while Eritrean Athlete Rahel Daniel finished 5th in the female’s 10 thousand meters race.
