Life after Death by Daksh Kakkar

Death is an event that everyone dreads. Some people believe that it is the end of the road. But actually life continues even after the death. It is the immortal Eternal Soul after leaving the mortal body continues to live (travel). It will be very surprising to many of us.

What’s even more surprising is that despite the agony associated with Death, the journey of the soul after death is very similar to the life we lead when alive. This means that souls travel, observe and experience both happiness and pain just like we do as humans. They don’t leave their loved ones just like that, but remain with us.

Science has taught us that energy in the Universe always remains the same. Eternal souls is the energy that keeps the physical body function. How can we believe that it has been extinguished. In fact as the soul leaves the mortal body and it transforms into free energy, and death of the person occurs.

The Bhagavad Gita mentions the essence of the shlok ‘Nainam Chindanti Shastrani’ from the second chapter i.e. Sankhya Yoga of Bhagavad Gita. The Aatman which each one of us have is part of the supreme Purusha (the eternal force).

The Shlok depicts that the eternal souls or Aatman is formless, shapeless, limitless and doesn’t possess any physical attributes, but it still exists. The soul is birth-less, eternal, imperishable and timeless and is never destroyed when the body is destroyed.

But, we would most certainly not see life and death from the perspective of energy so let me give you a different view. When we lose a loved one, it is not that they just pass away, but they are always with us, and try to communicate, bless or make their presences felt to us. Whatever emotion bound us to them binds them to us even after they have left this world.

Our departed loved ones just don’t reincarnate immediately. This concept of one person dying and the same instant being born at distant place is a myth created by bollywood.

Each eternal souls has its own unique journey. After a soul leaves a body, it is bound by memories, purpose or incomplete work that just does not let it leave the earth.
The soul roams at known/ unknown places in search of fulfilling its purpose. I know you must be thinking about ghosts and all types of supernatural baddies. I would like to tell you that every eternal souls is not bad and it does not harm anyone.
In Hindi scriptures we have the concept of a soul, travelling through various ‘lokas’ to reach their final destination. It is believed that a eternal souls that has completed its purpose and is free from wants merge with the Almighty God, while those that have some unfinished business (work), remain on the earth till their salvation.

We understand that life after death really exists. Various researches have taken place on this topic /subject. In the year 1970 an American Psychiatrist and author Dr. JRaymond Moody created quite a stir with his book, ‘Life after Death’. The book was a compilation of accounts of near death experiences and experiences of people who had proceeded on their eternal souls journey. These people had miraculously returned back to tell their tales.

Many people recalling near death or out of body experiences, explain in great detail the journey of the soul after death. While many rationalists refute these accounts as hallucination, in Munnabhai style ‘Chemical Lochcha’, these accounts are similar in many respects. The presence of a bright light, a voice commanding them to return and the manner in which the travel takes place are generally similar in sequence and description.
However, many people have also recalled visiting their own bodies and loved ones. Such people describe their experiences in great detail.
I can recall many such experiences and share with you one such exp…
