Edgbaston, July 10 (SocialNews.XYZ) A hilarious conversation between wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant and skipper Rohit Sharma during the second India-England T20I of the three-match series on Saturday has gone viral on social media.
After winning the first T20I quite comfortably, India threw in a surprise in the second game as Pant opened for the side alongside Rohit.
During their opening partnership, a hilarious incident took place during the very first over of the Indian innings. Pant took a risky single to open his account in the game, however, the bowler, David Willey, obstructed his way which almost led to a collision.
After completing the run, Pant was caught on stump mic asking his captain: "Yeh saamne aa gaya yaar, saamne aa gaya" (he came in front of me while running). "Takkar maar du kya?" (Should I hit him, if he comes in the way).
"Maarde aur kya," (Yes hit him what else) replied Rohit .
The whole fun conversation between two Indian players has gone viral on social media and netizens are constantly sharing the video across platforms.
Notably, it wasn't for the first time that Rohit was involved in such an incident. In a T20 match against Bangladesh in the past, the star opener was miffed after left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman had come in his way and expressed his displeasure.
Soon after that, MS Dhoni, who was the then captain of the side, shoved Rahman aside while taking a single. Dhoni was also fined 75 percent of his match fees while the bowler was docked 50 percent.
After a convincing 49-run win in the second T20I, India have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series against England.
